Little Morreton Hall

I've just finished working on this image of Little Moreton Hall in Cheshire which is owned by the National Trust.

The late medieval courtyard manor house is one of the finest examples of timber framed architecture in England. So picturesque is the house that it has been described as “a ginger bread house lifted straight from a fairy story”

I think I'll take a break from wooden beams for a while

An illustrated Year

I produced these 3 images as part of my agents annual promotional booklet that goes out to clients. The theme was 'An illustrated year'. We were asked to pick a set of three dates and produce images inspired by them.

The discovery of Australia, the invention of the 'Cats-eye' and the opening of London Zoo were my dates.

National Parks

I've just completed a series of images based on national parks around Britain for an agency visit to Royal Mail. Here's hoping they go down well!

Women's Weekly

Here's a little job I did recently for Women's Weekly. The story was based on a housewife's memories of a holiday in Mexico.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh

Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Scottish architect, designer and leading exponent of the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements was born on 7th June 1868.

This illustration is of one of Mackintosh’s most famous buildings, the Glasgow School of Art, which I've just finished as part of some new self promotional work for my agent

Tales from the Caribbean

As part of my job designing and laying out pages for Reform Magazine, I occasionally get the opportunity to flex my illustration muscles and produce work to accompany some of the articles.

I've recently produced some illustrations to accompany a series of stories by author and minister Michael Jagessar, about some of his experiences growing up in the Caribbean.
